Koru Art

Here is my koru art based on the work of Raewyn Harris, a New Zealand artist.
You can look at her work by clicking on this link. I like the colours and koru shapes I have used.

Poetry

In writing I have used a poem by James K. Baxter as a starting point to write my own holiday poem. I hope you like it.

Lachie’s James K Baxter Inspired Poetry

Hanmer was usual enough;
It had a lolly pot, a pool, some pedal bikes, a few waterslides and even a Fudge shop.
My family, Amber’s family and I did what swimmers do -
Sliding down the waterslides, pedaling hard on the pedal bikes, fast, quick swimming, relaxing in the egg smelling spas, drying off in the 27 degree sun and Having lots of fun in Amber’s family’s wooden police apartment.

Doing nothing important.
