Museum Trip

On Wednesday the 13th of June, myself and Room 15 went to the  Museum to learn about solar energy with Anthony. First we talked about planets and how heavy and light you would be on the sun and moon if you were 60 kg on earth you are 36 times your normal weight on the sun, but if you were 60 kg on earth you would be around 15 kg I think. I liked it because we made solar energy cars my activity group made a car that looked like one of those old fashioned horse carts but without a horse and with a solar energy pad. My favourite part about the Museum trip was running on the S.N.A.I.L which was a speedometer that worked out how long it would take you to run to the moon.
Getting ready to run as fast as I can on the  S.N.A.I.L. speedometer.

My activity group and I are really proud of our solar powered car!!

This is my Waka Huia, They are used by Maori chiefs to keep their Huia feathers safe while they sleep.
